One more Aviva Baby is coming

I've got this mail today from one of my Aviva girls.

She was diagnosed with early menopause earlier this year. Under 40 it's unacceptable, especially when one wants a baby. According to her state then her doctor warned her not to expect any ovulation, nor period in the course of Jun.
That's when she started my Aviva classes at Rue Belliard in the lunch breaks.
In  that very first cycle she experienced symptoms of ovulation and 2 weeks later she had her period.
Today is 2nd December:

Prenatal classes I give only to those who became pregnant with my Aviva sessions!
It takes half an hour, possible twice a week in Rue Belliard after or before the Aviva Basics. The weekly schedule of all regular Aviva classes you can find here.

Indian Yellow Chickpeas, pumkin dhal and marwadi bhatie

We made pumpkin dhal, chickpeas and marwadi bhaties. The bhaties are little bread rolls, without egg, soda, baking powder or yeast, that we bake in the owen.
If we want to warm it up later, we just sprinkle olive oil on them in a regular dish, and put it on the stove. This makes it delicious crispy. My kids just love it. So as I.

All pH tests were in the wonderful dark pink- turquoise area at the end of the dinner. In digits: pH 7.4-8!!!

Chickpeas brings cholesterol down, so it's very beneficial in many conditions.
In the bhatie's we always put ajowan. You can read about its healing properties in an earlier article.
I'm sending the recipes in the coming 2 days.

AvivaOvu Exercises to Stimulate Progesterone that results in better ovulation

Do you want to have a baby? Or you just want to slow down aging and stimulate your progesterone production? Progesterone helps preventing breast cysts, ovarian cysts and uteral fibroids. We can stimulate our progesterone production in natural ways with certain ingredients in the meals or with exercises.

Aviva Gabriella Steiner found a series of movements that is efficiently stimulating our progesterone and ovulation. It's called the AvivaOvu Steps.

For many women, who for seemingly unknown reasons were unable to conceive, exercises of the Aviva Method played a very important and positive role in reaching this dream.

In my groups this set of exercises seems to be incredibly efficient. Currently 4 of my girls are pregnant, and for 2 of them these exercises made the difference after practicing the Aviva Basic steps for couple of months. Aviva always said that with the AvivaBasics you can optimize your hormone levels, energize your system. You need to start with the Aviva Basics - you practice those steps twice a week, and after about half year you can add the AvivaOvu exercise set. They are really strong. If I just show them while teaching I can feel my ovaries.

They not only stimulate circulation  in and around the organs of the lower abdomen, but they twist, fold and pull the Fallopian Tubes and the entire surrounding area. We feel more heat when practicing them, and a sense of static accumulation around the reproductive organs. It's very important to maintain this heat and energy that we have accumulated by drinking hot tea afterwards for instance.

HORMONE WORKSHOPS are held once a month in Tervuren / Belgium and several times in NewYor in the course of August. Timetable see here.
Practice Classes are help in the Eu Commission Brussels, Eu Committee Brussels, Vossem, Yoga House Tervuren. Time Table see here.

The training doesn't have to sit in the middle of your cycle.
The practice the other hand you should plan for 2-3 days prior to the wished ovulation.

About a year ago we stimulated ovulation outside of the cycle for one of the girls, who two days later experienced an exceptional ovulation when the conception did happen THEN! Today a wonderful baby girl is keeping the happy mom busy.

SPHINCTER TECHNIQUES

Sphincters are a system of muscles that is the source of life's fundamental processes, these are the ring muscles or the sphincters. There are ring muscles in various parts of the body, both internally and externally. It's their coordinated and harmonious contraction and relaxation that initiates breathing, digestion, circulations, elimination, and all muscular motion. there is nothing in human body that is not affected by the ring muscles.

This technique I learned from Peter Gadish, who teaches most of all actors in Barcelona in order to produce better quality of voice. For the same purpose he himself had to practice only eye exercises for one year at the Theater Department of Tel Aviv Usniversity of Arts. Today Peter's most prominent actress student is Maria Stoyanova, who uses the technique in her every day life.

Professor Y. Goldhammer M.D., Head of the Department of Neurology in the Israeli Tel Hashomer Hospital says about the ring muscles techniques in the book "Secret Of The Ring Muscles  / Healing Yourself through Sphincter Exercises" by Paula Garbourg that
"Activation of the sphincters -the muscles surrounding the various orifices of the human body- is based on the observation of Mrs. Paula Garbourg, that all the sphincters work in unison. The activity of one muscle is likely to affect the activity of another muscle, even one located some distance away. Relying on this principle, it is possible, by performing systematic exercises, to strengthen weak muscles and, for example, to correct irregularities of posture. To bring this point home, let us take the example of a woman of about forty, suffering from the fairly common combination of low back pain, headache, sinusitis, blocked nasal passages, constipation, hemorrhoids, varicose veins, a prolapsed uterus, impaired bladder control, insomnia, irritability, and depression. Her doctor is likely to prescribe some form of medication, or to send her to one or more of the following: an orthopedic surgeon; a neurologist; an ear, nose and throat specialist; a general surgeon; a gynecologist; a urologist; or psychiatrist. Each of these will likely suggest medication and/or surgery. Yet based on my experience, it is responsible to assume that, despite protracted and diverse treatments, there will be no marked improvement in the unfortunate woman's condition. Her numerous and various affliction may well stem from a slackness of the muscles of the back and the pelvic floor. Strengthening these muscles, giving up high-healed shoes, and acquiring correct habits of posture (standing, walking, and so on) may well cure her completely, proving once again the old saying, mens sana in copore sano (a sound mind in a sound body)
Paula Garbourg's sphincter gymnastics have numerous times succeeded where a variety of medical treatments have failed. "

As a result of illness, Paula Garbourg  became very restricted in movements at the age of thirty-five. One day, a doctor told her that she would need a wheelchair. She couldn't accept it. She found it contrary to her nature. Long time back, when she was young she studied singing. She noticed then if she sang standing tiptoe her breathing became stronger and surer. When she heard the shocking news about the wheelchair, she remembered what had happened when she sang standing tiptoe. She contracted the wear sphincters that shaped the sphincters in her throat in a way that she could actually create a nicer voice. She began practicing movements that she had not performed before. She kept practicing and soon she was able to walk again.

Let's see an example, one from the easier and more rewarding exercises. People tend to respond rather rapidly to the "OOO-EEE" exercise, when we relax and contract the lips.
It acts beneficially on all the sphincters of the face, on the lower sphincters, and on the feet, the hands, and the whole body.

This is a clear-cut opening and closing exercise that consists of shifting the mouth extreme contraction to extreme expansion. It has a strong normalizing effect on all the sphincters, and works the back and abdominal muscles alternately.

To perform the exercises, enunciate the sounds "oooo" and "eeee" alternately. Contract the lips as strongly as possible while saying the "ooo", and expand the mouth as much as possible while saying the "eee".  Don't keep doing until fatigue, but up to three to five minutes.
First do it while lying down, later you can try standing.
This exercise releases many tensions, and doing so it affects stability and balance.

You can learn more on the HORMONE WORKSHOPS in Tervuren/Belgium once a month or several times in NEw YORK in the course of August, as well as on the Endo-Gym classes in Brussel.

Fibroids from a natural approach

“We should not start treating the diseases, but should focus on lifestyle management. If we fix the problems of our lifestyle, diseases will disappear by themself”  (Are Wearald)

With other words a disease can be cured if we know what caused it, if we know the source.  Then the only thing we need to do is to eliminate the source and the disease will disappear.
The medical doctor Hanish, the founder of the Mazdaznan movement, says that the uterus has three tasks:
1. With the help of the luteinizing hormone every month the uterus revitalizes the female body.
2. With the menstruation the uterus detoxifies the female body
3. Reproduction

Throughout the phylogeny the uterus developed to serve all these three functions. This requires plenty of blood supply!!! If this blood supply is blocked because of any reason, we transfer our uterus to a soil of diseases.

FIBROID – if fibroid is diagnosed Aviva exercises are not recommended during the period! Further during the period it’s not recommended to eat garlic or any other meal that results in increased blood flow in the lower abdomen such as cinnamon, eggs, etc)
During pregnancy the fibroid is growing together with the fetus, so it’s crucial to cure the fibroid first and then conceive. It may press the fetus or grow to a size that the uterus has to be removed eventually.
Reasons of fibroid:
1. Sleeping on the belly or on the sides.  Doing so the intestines with all their content press the uterus and this way they create a block for free blood fl ow.
Dr Hanish says that bowel, urine, sweat, acne are all products of detoxification.  Whenever the body can’t flush some toxic content out of our system, it will store them in a place that is found to be a “trash can”. “Trash can” can be any part of the body that is not 100% healthy. It can be a strained lumbar section, an inflamed ovary, or a uterus with insufficient blood supply.
2. Constipation , similar explanation as above, taking into consideration that sitting the whole day with curved back, the intestines with all their content press the uterus whole day long.
3. Sudden end of a harmonious sexual life or when the woman can’t enjoy sexual intercourse for long period of time.
4. Unhealthy diet that results in putrefaction and fermentation in the intestines.  The toxins of the gases get released by these processes and they impair the organs in the lower abdomen.

In our Aviva practice we have plenty of examples of women, who managed to avoid surgical removal of fibroids by exercising the Aviva Basics 18 steps.
One lady for instance got so scared from the surgery and she had such a short time till the planned operation, that -from her own decision- she did the 18steps as many times as she could in a DAY. Her recovery was the most incredible in my experience. But I know others, who slowly diminished the fibroids with  following all above advices and practicing the 18steps twice a week only.

It's all in your hands!!!

FREE LUNAR FERTILITY CALENDAR or “Jonas Calendar”

1. How to use it:
FreeHoroscopes
Calculations
Extended Chart Selection
Methods: Special charts /
Type of chart: Lunar Phase Fertility Calendar
Fill in your birth data by clicking on “add a new person”

2.  What can you see

  • The calendar covers one year from the day you entered.
  • Only the Sundays are marked with the actual date
  •  The vertical red mark means the “Jonas Day”, when you are fertile;  the horizontal red lines on the three days prior meant to show the days you need to receive the sperm, so they’ve got time to reach the egg by the fertile day.
  • Above the fertile day the little symbol gives indication regarding the sex of the child. In case of no symbol it can be both girl and a boy.  To define the sex of the second or later children requires a little more attention; hence those have to be looked at in the light of the sex of the earlier born children.
  • If you have your period on the fertile day, you still have the same chance for conception, unless you avoid the act. You can also work your period off from your Jonas Days with the Aviva Method. You do the panic exercise or nor7 from the 18basic steps for about 15-20 minutes 4days before your expected period. In case of questions you can get in touch with me: info@nonoage.com

3. Origin of the calendar
It relies on an ancient astrological observation that a woman is the most fertile when the phase of the moon is aligned with what it was at her birth.
In the 50’s Dr. Jonas studied the efficiency of the calendar involving more than 30 thousand couples and himself. With his wife they planed the sex and the birth of 11 children. There is much more to it when it comes to defining twins and the health of the unborn fetus.  You can check focused websites for deeper information: http://beta.centrumjonas.com/en , http://www.drjonasmethod.com/.

4. Further remarks
·         The calendar can be used in case of healthy couples.  E.g. if one of the fallopian tubes is blocked the conception is still possible on the “Jonas Days” through the other. If both are completely blocked, it’s not. There are Aviva Method exercises that are successfully used to open up blocked fallopian tubes, so no worries, it's in your hands. -info@nonoage.com. Interesting: Among our Aviva clients it happened that a woman conceived with only one fallopian tube on one side and one ovary on the other!

Aviva For the Pregnant

When I was pregnant with my son, we toke pictures of all the 12 Aviva Prenatal exercises. This is nor5.
Pregnancy begins with conception, and lasts until a woman gives birth. The mother's body goes through enormous changes during this period, ensuring that her fetus has the most optimal conditions for healthy development. In order to facilitate a smooth pregnancy and birth, it is essential to increase the flexibility of the joints and muscles around the spinal cord, the pelvis and the vagina.
If we aer psychologically and physically prepared, we will likely have a natural birth, free of complications. Learning how to breathe is an essential part of these prenatal exercises, partly because the muscles we use during labor require an increased oxygen supply. These exercises include movements that open the chest and ribs, in order to boost the vital capacity of the lungs. Furthermore, the exercises increase the flexibility of the lower body by opening the pelvis, as well as improving the elasticity of the entire spinal cord.

It is very important no to force breathing while practicing these prenatal exercises. It is enough to become aware of our breath, and sometimes even simple thing, such as counting the breath, may result in the necessary focus.

The program consists out of 12 exercises taking 30 minutes.

EmotiviDance - Monica Lanzadera / Madrid

Emotividance: Moon Dance in you

Mónica Lanzadera, the core of "The Moon Inside You" documentary, began to experience mood changes with the start of her first menstruation, and through the zears a lot more which eventually led her to discover of dance.

Monica suffered from extreme premenstrual dysphoric disorder PMDD, an acute form of PMS that has strong physiological and emotional effects with severity that can offset hormone levels as much as 25%, and which according to neuroscientist Louan Brizendine affects up to 10% of the world's female population.

In Monica's case, the history of symptoms were amplified due to a set of marginal domestic circumstances, and later when living on her own, having to face a protracted lawsuit related to labor harassment, all of which eventually led to a general state of self-annihilation.  Feelings of emptiness that waxed and waned in step with the menstrual cycle, and for which it was difficult to get proper medical attention, since the associated hormonal markers typically went undetected in analysis.  And whereas these diagnostics explained things in terms of external or psychological factors, the hormonal imbalance continued to take its toll, and as she put it, "made herself her worst enemy"; a state of so called bipolar depression that she was simply expected to learn to live with.

But this was not easy, and at one point Monica attempted suicide, and was ordered protection as ward of the state; a situation which was further complicated by her resistance to the prescribed regime, ironically, since she was familiar with the methods and strategies involved, having worked many years as a functionary in a related social service.

Monica was then living in isolation under her mother's care. The doctors recommended to her mother to get her involved in some kind of activity, however unexciting.  And so, her mother brought her music and signed Monica up for dance classes, which at first Monica refused to attend.

In those long moments of solitude Monica was left with the music playing.  Slowly, her body began a process of its own, moving in a new direction.  With the sounds and rhythms of music, the emotional pressure began to release.  The change came through movements that were a gift to the body not tied to any particular known form of dance.  Nevertheless, there were moments when these would remind her of African dancers especially when the pelvis took control, or her hips traced exotic curves suggestive of sensual Oriental dancers.  And when bouts of mental anguish seemed to peak, she would twirl not unlike a Dervish monk using the body like a centrifuge to rid itself of the mental activities that had so tortured it.

Over time, Monica discovered a way to put an end to this situation, which did not come without a sense of rebirth.  A rebirth that came from dance; a rebirth through dance that delivered and saved her from those periods of desperation, anxiety, and depression.   She eventually did begin to attend the classes that her mother signed her up for, and from then on her life changed.

Instead of being her worst enemy, her body turned out to be her best friend and doctor, which when listened to, directed her on a path of self-discovery.  Yet she began discovering things that had already been discovered by others, with explanations for these and other curative processes found in traditional philosophies, ancestral practices, and articles on neuroscience.

Among these, Monica came into contact with Diana Favianova, director of the documentary, "The Moon Inside You", who saw in Monica a person able to direct a remedial dance group for purposes of a controlled experiment.  The group consisted of seven women with different levels of symptomatic PMS, ranging from interminable bleeding to constant and acute migraine,  endometriosis, etc., who agreed to stop taking their prescribed chemical medications (which at any rate were not that effective), and try to see to what degree their bodies might respond favorably to therapies of movement.  In this way, they submitted themselves to an experiment, wherein their own bodies became a laboratory.

Besides the positive results of the experiment, it should be noted that within the group, there was a taichi and tao yin instructor, psychologists, massagists and other physical therapists, whose experience and suggestions Monica found most helpful in organizing activities and exercises.  Independent of this situation however, Monica unknowingly relied on traditional dance moves and played curative audio from taichi without having previously researched these areas, and similarly incorporated "Gestalt zero point" exercises, only to have these and other coincidences pointed out by the volunteers.

It has been four years since Monica began this odyssey of self-exploration and discovery sculpted within the pulses of bodily expression.  These classes in  Oriental and Dervish dance, research in Chinese medicine and Taoism, as well as  participation in a variety of dance seminars and theatrical art projects, have made all the difference in her life, making it less than likely that any part of this story is purely coincident.  It is as if the body retains ancestral memories that point the way forward, only needing the space to allow it to be listened to.

The lessons derived from these dances center on developing, exercises, devices, and techniques which can be relied upon and used whenever needed during the feminine cycle, and at the same time provide helpful responses to symptoms that are particular to women, resulting in concrete  benefits such as, increased vitality, less bloating, inflamation and pain, which in turn leads to a state of improved mental focus and relaxation.

The methodology is primarily based on practicing and encouraging self-observation, as well as correcting body posture.  This leads to acquiring information that results in emotional messages which take forms that are later communicated in our relationships with others and especially ourselves.  One then is able to design exercises particular to the individual's needs, stimulating further self-discovery and new tools and methods.

Physical techniques include Brain Gym, Belly Dancing, Africana, Flamenco, Sufi dances, Chi Kung, Body Language Therapy, etc.., applied in the form of exercises, group dynamics, motion routines, and games.

Visualization and ritual is incorporated as a means to channel the force of this transformation, with the help of tangible forms employing imagination and movement in order to reinforce our goals and intentions.   We also make use of the power of the essential elements, Earth, Fire, Water, and Air, embedded within us, and which on the other hand, form the basis the diagnosis and treatments used in Chinese medicine.

Steps in the process follow a logical order that is consistent with preparing the body with different rhythms, taking us to explore and understand stages of the pre-menstrual cycle, followed by the menstrual and post-menstrual phases, and moving on lastly to pre and post-ovulation.

Thus to begin, we focus on increasing body awareness and enhancing both muscle and mind tone.  This is important, because without first toning the mind, it is impossible to visualize intentions, and their subsequent effects on reaching the objective[1] of each routine.

We must also pay attention to the question of what happens if we distribute energy associated with the ovaries and uterus, without having first transformed other information that may exist such as that which could be associated with possible past abuses, harassment, lack of consideration, abandonment, etc.  It is believed that female ancestral lineage has its effect on the existential experience of some women, and that these precise memories exist and are recorded at a deep level.  For this purpose, a table of combined exercises is applied in order to stimulate adequate hormonal discharges to achieve the needed emotional and physical harmonization.

In the second part, we focus on the ovulation stage, and to this end, incorporate exercises involving ovarian and vaginal compression as well as ovarian breathing and aspiration of the libido. These are exercises that could generate some discomfort for those who have not taken the preparatory steps previously mentioned, in the same way as for a woman who has energy blockage in the channels that are involved in these practices.

Body Calligraphy training is practiced in parallel, where movements are made both in place and in space, tracing figures of circles and lines made with the arms, torso and hips, as well as the legs and head.
